Rafting With Raptors

To the delight of visitors and residents alike,
Bald Eagles by the hundreds (and even thousands) congregate each winter
along the rivers and creeks of the Squamish Valley.

In 1994, a record-breaking 3,769 Bald Eagles
were counted on the Annual Eagle Count Day.
A record of 500 Eagles were counted during our
 Rafting With Raptors float trip.

Not only are there Bald Eagles and Salmon to see.
Harbour Seals, Trumpeter Swans and an impressive variety of Ducks
claim the Squamish Estuary and Valley as their winter residence.
The snow-capped peaks of Mount Garibaldi,
Tantalus Range and Mamquam Valley

provide a backdrop of astounding proportions.

Silently, Gently And Unobtrusively Floating
Past This Incredible Wildlife Vista
Is A Unique
British Columbia Experience.
